Crieff is the capital town of Strathearn, an area steeped in history.
Everything from stone circles, standing stones, through the Roman and
medieval Scotland to the Victorian era.
Eating Out
There are high quality restaurants, good food hotels and pubs. Something
for all tastes and ages, all within a ten minute walk.
Places of Interest
For those who enjoy a more relaxed holiday, Crieff offers an abundance of
attractions and places to explore.
Sport
You can enjoy a vast array of activity holidays, with six golf courses all
within a 15 minute drive.

Car
Largybeg is situated on the Perth Road. As you come in from the Perth
direction, we are situated on the left, surrounded by a tall hedge and
backed by tall trees.
Bus
From Perth it is service No's. 15 or 55 (Stagecoach). From Stirling it is
service No. 47 (Stagecoach).
Rail
The nearest station is Perth.
Air
Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are both an 1½ hours drive away.

Largybeg is a quiet, comfortable bed and breakfast situated on the Perth
Road as you enter Crieff. It is ideally suited as a base for holiday
makers whether they be activity holidays or touring around Scotland.
We offer accommodation of a high standard. Largybeg is a non smoking
house, leaving you to enjoy the abundance of fresh Perthshire air. We have
two double rooms and one twin room, all with wash bains, shaver points and
clock/radio alarms. We serve tea/coffee in the lounge in the evening and a
full Scottish breakfast in the morning. Largybeg is a modern centrally
heated house with private off road parking. Snacks are available and we
can provide a packed lunch on request.
Crieff is the capital town of Strathhearn, an area of great natural beauty
where you may enjoy all water sports, fishing, golf, rambling, bird
watching, riding, hill walking or just sightseeing. For those who enjoy a
more relaxed holiday, Perthshire offers an abundance of attractions and
places to explore including the Crieff Visitor Centre, Drummond Castle
Gardens, Stuart Crystal Visitors Centre, Innerpeffray Library, Blair
Castle, Bells Cherrybank Gardens, Branklyn Gardens, Caithness Glass
Factory, Dunkeld Heritage Centre, Perth City, Scone Palace, Killiebranckie,
Fairways Heavy Horse Centre and Glenturret Distillery, to name but a few
places. Crieff holds their Highland Games on the third Sunday of August
each year, so why not come along and enjoy a day of Scottish sports,
dancing and music and make a few more new friends.
